Visulite Cinema

Staunton, VA

This building was originally built in 1935, as a motion picture theater. Updated in 1950, it gradually fell into disrepair through the 1970's and by the turn of the century was being used as a storefront church. In 2004 the client purchased the building and asked us to work with him to bring it back into use as a theater again. Because of the constraints of the modem moviehouse business, it was necessary to split the space so as to allow two screens. Work was completed on the second screen in 2006, and the Visulite has been going strong ever since.
